Why did I buy the BMW M3 E92 ZCP?
Quite many years I have had a dream to go to Nürburgring Nordschleife. Give or take, it is an item in my bucket list. Finally I pulled the trigger and made a plan:
Buy a suitable car, pay in cash, less than 40 k€.
Learn driving it on track, take an instructor
Buy Playstation + Gran Turismo + Seat + Steering wheel; learn Nordschleife turns
Book Nürburgring Track Day
GO!
I do not like front heavy Audis. Porsches are too expensive, not in my cash payment range. So I chose E92 platform. I like the real race-bred ITB-equipped, fast revving, atmospheric V8.
I got ZCP-equipped (=Competition Pack back then), dual clutch automatic with shift paddles and electronically adjustable shock absorbers. Carbon roof is such a nice touch.
