H&R Stabilizer Set 33039-1 for BMW M3 E92

As another upgrade for track use, I purchased H & R Stabilizer Set (sway bars) for my BMW M3 E92 (HR product code 33039-1). It’s marketed as 52% stiffer than the factory E90/E92 M3 bar. What I’ve noticed:

It’s quite affordable, ca € 360

  • Heavier than original M3 stabilizers (they are not hollow as M3 original)

  • Interestingly, the ride quality has not been changed noticeable

  • Quite marginally less sway on track

  • New upgraded bushes (as advertised) were actually not included with the kit

About the bushings. As the diameter of H&R bars are the same as OEM, I went to Powerllex Black Series bushes. Front PFF5-1203-28BLK and rear PFR5-1210-22.5BLK. But this was a mistake, they are quite noisy. Going soon back to M3 original bushes, they are strong enough and silent. Bad news is that in order to change rear bushes, you have to lower rear subframe.
